Job summary

Oxford Health in Salisbury is recruiting a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join Salisbury Community CAMHS and lead a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist mental health care to children and young people.

The role involves clinical leadership, risk assessment, and service development within the Getting More Help pathway, with a job plan of 75% direct clinical care and 25% supporting professional activities.

Qualifications

• Medical degree, GMC registration and eligibility for Specialist Register.
• Eligible for Section 12 Approval/Approved Clinician.
• Desirable MSc or higher degree.
• Strong leadership and governance experience in mental health teams.
• Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and medical input to the Salisbury CAMHS team.
• Be responsible for patients seen by you and those supervised by you.
• Lead clinical governance as a clinical lead for the team.
• Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team for clinical management and risk assessment.
• Foster a restorative learning culture and participate in safety investigations and improvements.
