Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to shape a new CAMHS Liaison Service across Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. The role offers leadership to a growing multidisciplinary team in three hospitals and a 12-month fixed-term contract, with options for full- or part-time engagement.

You will design future care models, strengthen crisis pathways, influence system-wide practice, and help secure permanent funding for expanded services.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a new CAMHS Liaison model across BSW as part of a clinical leadership team.
• Provide senior clinical leadership with psychiatric expertise to multidisciplinary liaison teams across three hospitals.
• Assess and manage high-risk young people, provide specialist consultation, and advise on high-risk presentations.
• Develop links with CAHTS, inpatient services and wider networks to improve care and reduce admissions.
• Foster quality improvement, supervision, and compassionate care within liaison services.
