Job summary

Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist (CAMHS) for the Getting More Help North CAMHS team in Oxfordshire. The post focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care with opportunities for clinical leadership, and involvement in medical education and supervision.

The role requires GMC registration and Specialist Register (or nearing CCT). A relocation allowance and flexible working are available to supported applicants.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in CAMHS or equivalent.
• Experience supervising medical and non-medical staff.
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior medical input and clinical leadership to the Getting More Help North CAMHS team.
• Assess new cases and manage caseload with other clinicians.
• Support evidence-based practice and service evaluation.
• Liaise with education and social care services.
• Manage mental health crises and use of the Mental Health Act where appropriate.
• Oversee admissions, discharges and care planning for inpatients.
