Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or experience in electrical and plumbing trade.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge of traditional and modern techniques.
• Experience in construction/multi-skills or similar technical disciplines is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for practical lessons and assessments.
• Set up and demonstrate tools, machinery, and equipment safely.
• Maintain and repair tools and machinery, keeping servicing records.
• Ensure resources are stored and organised in line with college policies.
• Oversee and support students during practical sessions to maintain safe working practices.
• Manage stock levels, order supplies, and recycle materials where appropriate.
• Provide technical support to staff and respond to students’ practical needs.
• Assist in creating a high-quality, professional workshop environment.
