Job summary

CLARUS EDUCATION in Uxbridge is seeking a High Skills Technician – Plumbing to maintain plumbing equipment, support teaching, and supervise learners in workshops. The role ensures health and safety compliance and helps prepare materials for practical lessons.

You will work with lecturers and fellow technicians to keep workshops running smoothly, carry out simple repairs, manage tool levels, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive learning environment for 16–19-year-olds.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing industry and training environments.
• Knowledge of health and safety in workshop settings.
• Ability to guide learners and demonstrate techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plumbing equipment and undertake simple repairs.
• Assist lecturers in preparing equipment and teaching resources.
• Supervise students in workshops and practical lessons.
• Carry out risk assessments and promote health and safety.
• Ensure tool and equipment levels are maintained.
• Support learners aged 16–19 in a training environment.
