Job summary

Vision West Nottinghamshire College is seeking a Work Placement Administrator for Construction - Fixed Term. You will support placement activities across Construction Crafts and Building Services, liaising with students and employers and maintaining placement records.

The role requires strong communication, data handling skills, and the ability to manage bursary forms and placement software. Flexibility for events and a 8:30am–5pm schedule is needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the work placement engagement officers and coaches within Construction Crafts and Building Services.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as the frontline of a busy student-facing service.
• Complete health and safety training to prioritise low and medium risk health and safety assessments by employers.
• Assist students dropping in, and book work placement interventions in the relevant diaries.
• Support students to use the work placement management and tracking system and to complete bursary forms.
• Contribute to achieving work placement targets for study programme and industry placements.
• Build positive relationships with students, tutors and support staff; communicate face to face, by phone and email with empathy.
