Job summary

This hands-on role involves speaking with employers, arranging work placements, visiting businesses, supporting students and creating opportunities that lead to future employment. You'll work with construction tutors to understand needs and ensure placements meet compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in employer engagement, recruitment and apprenticeships.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management.
• Full clean driving licence with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with local construction companies and industry partners.
• Finding work placement opportunities for students.
• Visiting employers and placement sites across the region.
• Matching students with suitable placements.
• Supporting employers throughout the placement process.
• Organising careers events, employer talks and industry engagement activities.
• Working with construction tutors to understand student and employer needs.
• Monitoring placements and ensuring the required paperwork and compliance checks are completed.
• Helping students develop valuable industry experience before they enter employment.
