Job summary

We are Nacro looking for a dedicated teacher to support students in English and Maths at our Stoke centre. The role is part-time and permanent, with progression opportunities and a pro-rata salary between £26,807 and £31,982 depending on qualifications and experience.

You will plan lessons, assess work, support pastoral care, and work with a small local team to put students first while meeting performance standards.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent Level 2.
• Construction-based qualifications level 2 and above.
• Experience in trade preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teaching, learning and assessment focusing on progress and outcomes.
• Support students pastorally and help ensure course delivery runs to a high standard.
• Plan lessons, develop resources and monitor students' progress.
• Deliver tutorials or skills lessons using ready-made resources.

Education
