Qualifications

• Practical experience in bricklaying or related trade.
• Experience delivering vocational training.
• Ability to engage SEMH learners in practical lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver practical construction and vocational lessons in an SEMH setting.
• Teach bricklaying techniques: measuring, mixing materials, laying bricks.
• Deliver DT projects that foster creativity, problem solving and independent thinking.
• Develop pupils' knowledge of tools, materials and workplace practices.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
