Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Construction Tutor to join a specialist SEMH school in Balsall Heath, Birmingham. You will deliver bricklaying, construction skills, vocational studies and Design Technology (DT) to pupils, helping them develop practical abilities and confidence.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on construction experience or qualifications, a commitment to safeguarding, and the ability to engage learners who may need additional support in a structured, supportive workshop

Formación

• Hands-on construction experience or related qualifications in bricklaying or carpentry.
• Interest in delivering practical and vocational training to SEMH learners.
• Ability to engage pupils who may require additional support in a structured setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and safe workshop practices.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver practical construction and vocational lessons in an SEMH setting.
• Teach bricklaying basics: measuring, mixing materials, laying bricks and basic construction techniques.
• Deliver DT projects that foster creativity and problem-solving.
• Develop pupils' knowledge of tools, materials and workplace practices.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback; collaborate with school staff.
