A new Alternative Provision setting in Towcester is opening in October 2026, and they are looking for an experienced Construction Tutor to join their growing team.
The organisation already operates two established sites and is now expanding into Towcester.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the provision at the beginning of its development and play an important role in establishing a practical, engaging construction curriculum for students.
As a Construction Tutor, you will deliver practical and engaging construction-based sessions to young people who may have struggled within mainstream education.
You will help students develop practical skills, industry knowledge and confidence, supporting them to work towards relevant qualifications and prepare for future education, training or employment.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching or delivering Construction, Building, Carpentry, Brickwork, Plumbing, Electrical or another relevant trade subject.
You will need to be confident delivering practical sessions while adapting your approach to different abilities and learning needs.
Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, challenging behaviour or significant gaps in education would be highly desirable.
