OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting an Estimator to join our construction tendering team. You will develop detailed cost estimates and tender documents, analyze drawings and specifications, and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive bids.

The ideal candidate has construction Estimator experience, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency in estimating software and MS Office. A focus on accuracy and timely tender submission is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Commercially astute with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders for construction projects.
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Attend tender review meetings and contribute to bid strategy.
• Identify and assess commercial and contractual risks.
• Maintain accurate records of estimate assumptions and exclusions.
• Build and maintain relationships with supply chain partners.
• Assist with handover of successful tenders to delivery teams.
