Sedgwick is recruiting a Construction Technical Repair Technician to join our Birmingham-based Repair Solutions Technical Team. You will work with Chartered Building Surveyors, Construction Managers, HSE professionals, and a network of contractors on building repairs and defect investigations.

Ideal candidates are looking to develop a long-term career in construction and property repair, with opportunities to pursue chartered qualifications while supporting our Technical Managers to deliver

Qualifications

• An understanding of construction principles, building repairs and project delivery.
• Working towards, or committed to achieving, CIOB or RICS.
• Strong organisational skills with accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Collaborative team player with MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Technical Managers and contractors to ensure work is completed safely and to required quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining compliance as Principal Contractor/Designer where appropriate.
