Job summary
McHale Komatsu is a leading UK construction equipment distributor seeking a Special Applications & Field Support Engineer to install, commission, maintain and support our expanding portfolio of construction technology.
You will work depot-based and on the road across the UK, installing and supporting Komatsu factory tech and third-party systems, with a strong emphasis on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagnostics and customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience with construction plant or heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission technology systems on new/used Komatsu machinery.
- Complete electrical, hydraulic and mechanical installations.
- Configure and test machine-control systems and sensors.
- Install tiltrotators and safety/operator-assistance tech.
- Inspect machines before handover and document work.
- Travel nationally to support customers and depot network.
