Job summary

McHale Komatsu seeks a Special Applications & Field Support Engineer to install, commission, maintain and support our construction technology portfolio across the UK.

You will perform depot-based installations, provide field technical support, and assist with commissioning and customer training, requiring strong electrical, hydraulic and mechanical skills and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical, hydraulic and mechanical diagnostic skills and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Experience with construction plant or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Excellent fault-finding and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission technology systems on Komatsu machinery.
• Configure, calibrate and test machine-control systems and sensors.
• Travel nationally to support customers and depot network.
• Provide customer training and handover support.
