Provit Recruitment is seeking a Construction Teacher for an exclusive alternative provision setting in Coventry. The role focuses on delivering differentiated Construction lessons to small groups and 1:1 learners, with emphasis on academic progress and personal development.

You will work with support staff to create engaging activities, track progress, and maintain safeguarding standards, helping learners overcome barriers and rediscover confidence in learning.

Qualifications

• Essential: QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Essential: Experience planning and delivering Construction lessons.
• Essential: Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Essential: Relate to learners and break down barriers.
• Essential: Strong safeguarding and child protection understanding.

Responsibilities

• Delivering differentiated Construction lessons in small groups and 1:1 settings.
• Planning engaging and purposeful learning activities.
• Tracking learner progress and completing assessments and reporting.
• Supporting behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation.
• Building positive relationships with learners, families and external agencies.
• Collaborating with Teaching Assistants and support teams.
• Contributing to curriculum development and resource creation.
• Maintaining safeguarding and compliance standards.
