Provit Recruitment is seeking a Construction Teacher for an exclusive alternative provision setting in Coventry. The role focuses on delivering differentiated Construction lessons to small groups and 1:1 learners, with emphasis on academic progress and personal development.

You will work with support staff to create engaging activities, track progress, and maintain safeguarding standards, helping learners overcome barriers and rediscover confidence in learning.

Qualifications

• Essential: QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Essential: Experience planning and delivering Construction lessons.
• Essential: Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Essential: Relate to learners and break down barriers.
• Essential: Strong safeguarding and child protection understanding.

Construction Teacher - Alternative Provision
Coventry
Full-Time Monday to Friday
Up to £55,000 per annum

We are exclusively partnering with a specialist alternative education provider seeking passionate and resilient Construction Teachers to join their growing team

The Role

As a Construction Teacher, you'll take ownership of planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of learners within specialist and alternative provision settings.

You'll work closely with support staff, mentors, and wider professionals to create positive learning experiences that encourage engagement, progress, and emotional growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering differentiated Construction lessons in small groups and 1:1 settings

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• QTS, QTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience planning and delivering Construction lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A real ability to relate to learners & breakdown barriers
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Desirable:

• Experience within Alternative Provision, PRUs, SEN, or specialist education
• Experience supporting learners with SEMH or additional needs
• IQA qualification
