Placements24 is seeking a proactive Construction Supervisor to oversee daily operations at construction sites in East London with a hybrid work arrangement. You will ensure work aligns with plans, safety standards, and quality requirements while coordinating trades, crews, and subcontractors.

Ideal candidates bring at least 3 years of supervisory experience, strong leadership, and the ability to interpret drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role for at least 3 years.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work progresses according to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate the work of tradespeople, laborers, and subcontractors on site.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials used, ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Manage site resources, including equipment and materials, to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Liaise with project managers and site engineers to report on progress, address issues, and coordinate work schedules.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, personnel, and materials.
