Job summary

eNL is seeking a Construction Solicitor with at least four years' PQE for a full-time role in Hertfordshire. You will advise on construction contracts, disputes and risk management for developers, contractors, owners, consultants and insurers.

The role covers both contentious and non-contentious matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC), adjudication and litigation, and mentoring junior lawyers within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' PQE in construction law, with ability to handle a varied caseload.
• Strong drafting, analytical and research skills.
• Experience across contentious and non-contentious construction matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise on construction contracts and related issues for developers, contractors, owners, consultants and insurers.
• Manage a varied caseload including contracts, disputes and risk management.
• Represent clients in dispute resolution processes including adjudication, litigation, arbitration and mediation.
• Draft, review and negotiate construction contracts (JCT, NEC, FIDIC, bespoke).
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the Construction team's development.
