Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Multi-Skills Lecturer to join our client's construction and vocational education team on a full-time basis in Harrow. The successful candidate will deliver practical and theoretical training across multiple construction trades.

You will plan lessons, assess learners and maintain a safe learning environment, supporting progression into employment or further studies while keeping industry knowledge up to date.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Construction qualification is required.
• Teaching/training experience is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Ability to teach practical and theoretical construction across multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based lessons across multiple construction disciplines.
• Plan and prepare lessons, demonstrations, practical assessments and learning activities.
• Support learners in developing practical construction skills and industry knowledge.
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, professional and well-organised workshop and learning environment.
• Ensure teaching and assessment meet awarding-body and college requirements.
• Keep accurate records of learner progress, attendance and assessments.
• Support learners with development, employability and progression into the construction industry.
