Job summary

Oaklands College is seeking a Skills Bootcamps Trainer for Construction to deliver high-quality training, coaching, and assessment to adult learners. You will guide learners from enrolment to achievement, using classroom, online, and employer-based approaches to build technical and workplace skills.

You will monitor progress, tailor learning plans, and provide feedback aligned with awarding body requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering training, coaching, or teaching in education or workplace learning.
• Experience supporting learner achievement and progression.
• Knowledge of assessment requirements for construction qualifications.
• Proficiency with IT and e-portfolio systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training, coaching, and assessment to learners across construction programmes.
• Monitor learner progress through regular reviews, set targets, and adjust learning plans.
• Assess learner work against awarding body requirements and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate assessment records in the college's e-portfolio system and ensure quality standards.
