Quack Recruitment & Training is seeking a skilled Construction Tutor to deliver our funded Construction Skills Bootcamp across Hampshire and Surrey. You will teach hands-on and theory, helping learners progress toward CSCS cards and skilled worker pathways.

The role requires industry experience in groundworks or civil engineering, an assessing qualification or willingness to attain it, and the ability to train adult learners using fixed lesson plans.

Competenze

• Industry experience in groundworks, construction, or civil engineering.
• Assessing qualification (CAVA/A1) or willingness to work towards it.
• Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS) desirable but not essential.
• Knowledge of CSCS card preparation and site protocols.
• Strong communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
• Experience working with adult learners is a bonus.

Mansioni

• Deliver face-to-face training aligned to Highfield Level 1 Health & Safety, Level 2 Retrofit & Construction, and Level 3 Assessing Competence.
• Support learners to complete classroom and practical tasks toward CSCS card and pathways.
• Coach learners on site safety, groundworks, manual handling, and industry expectations.
• Prepare learners for progression into roles such as labourer, groundworker, or site operative.
• Track attendance and engagement; assist with practical workbooks and assessments.
• Liaise with wraparound team to align job outcomes with learner goals.
• Promote positive behaviours, teamwork, and punctuality in a structured training environment.
• Deliver content using provided lesson plans, slides, and resources.
• Maintain records, portfolios, and registers in line with compliance and funding requirements.
• Support ILPs, attendance monitoring, and milestone tracking with admin team.
