Job summary

CCA Recruitment Group is recruiting an Internal Sales Account Manager for a Bristol-based role within the construction sector. You will develop existing accounts, identify new opportunities, and drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, reviews, and targeted campaigns.

You'll manage a portfolio of construction sector clients, build strong relationships with contractors and merchants, and collaborate with sales and operations to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in an internal sales, account management, or business development role.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to generating sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts effectively and prioritise workload.
• Target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving results.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing construction industry accounts.
• Proactively contact customers to identify upcoming projects, requirements, and sales opportunities.
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up activities.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, merchants, and other construction sector customers.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to maximise conversion rates.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Work closely with external sales teams and operational departments to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
• Monitor market activity, competitor developments, and industry trends.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales, margin, and activity targets.
