Job summary

CCA Recruitment Group is seeking an ambitious Internal Sales Account Manager to join our growing team in Leigh. This role focuses on developing existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth within the construction sector.

You will manage a portfolio of accounts, engage customers via outbound calls, reviews, campaigns, and lead generation, and work to exceed sales targets with a proactive, relationship-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in internal sales, account management or business development.
• Strong commercial awareness and proactive generation of sales opportunities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of existing construction industry accounts.
• Proactively contact customers to identify upcoming projects, requirements, and sales opportunities.
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up activities.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, developers, merchants, and other construction sector customers.
• Prepare quotations and follow up to maximise conversion rates.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
• Work closely with external sales teams and operational departments to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity within the CRM system.
• Monitor market activity, competitor developments, and industry trends.
• Achieve and exceed agreed sales, margin, and activity targets.
