Job summary

Douglas Scott Legal Recruitment is seeking a non-contentious Construction Lawyer to join its market-leading international practice in London. You will advise on procurement and delivery of major construction and engineering projects, and draft and negotiate contracts, appointments and warranties.

The ideal candidate has 3-7 years' PQE, strong drafting and communication skills, and a practical, commercially focused approach.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years PQE or equivalent experience.
• Strong front-end construction experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating construction and engineering documentation.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Practical and commercially focused approach; ability to work collaboratively.
• E&W qualification preferred, but common law qualification considered.

Responsibilities

• The ability to manage complex matters and work collaboratively
• E&W qualificaiton is preferred, but candidate qualified in common law jurisdictions will also be considered
