Job summary

Fusion People is recruiting a Construction Project Manager for a well-established and rapidly expanding self-storage operator with sites across the UK and a strong pipeline of further development.

This is an in-house role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will lead projects from inception through to completion, covering redevelopment of existing buildings, new builds and mixed-use schemes.

Qualifications

• Cradle to grave project management experience.
• Experience with budgets and cost control.
• Knowledge of steel portal frame construction is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate contracts and stakeholders.
• Experience reporting to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating internal resources, third party suppliers and contractors across live projects.
• Delivering projects on time, in scope and on budget.
• Developing project scopes for new build and refurbishment schemes, including objectives and technical feasibility for stakeholders.
• Managing resource availability and allocation, and tracking project progress throughout.
• Handling changes to scope, schedule and cost using proper verification techniques.
• Measuring performance, reporting to senior management and escalating issues early.

Construction Project Manager
Witney, Oxfordshire | £40,000 to £50,000 DOE, up to £70,000 OTE | Permanent

Fusion People is recruiting a Construction Project Manager for a well-established and rapidly expanding self-storage operator with sites across the UK and a strong pipeline of further development.

This is an in-house role reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will lead projects from inception through to completion, covering redevelopment of existing buildings, new builds and mixed-use schemes. It is a genuine cradle to grave remit rather than picking up someone else's programme halfway through.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating internal resources, third party suppliers and contractors across live projects
• Delivering projects on time, in scope and on budget
• Developing project scopes for new build and refurbishment schemes, including objectives and technical feasibility for stakeholders
• Managing resource availability and allocation, and tracking project progress throughout
• Handling changes to scope, schedule and cost using proper verification techniques
• Measuring performance, reporting to senior management and escalating issues early

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in construction, fit out, refurbishment and building project management
• Experience with new build steel portal frame buildings
• Experience running projects from cradle to grave
• Strong on budgeting and analysis. QS skills are an advantage
• Comfortable with project management software such as Monday.com
• RICS qualification preferred but not essential

Package

• £40,000 to £50,000 basic depending on experience
• Up to £70,000 OTE through project completion bonuses
• Car mileage allowance
• 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
