Job summary

People Solutions is recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to join our client in Witney on a permanent basis. The role covers a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects, including new builds, refurbishments and mixed-use schemes, with nationwide travel.

The ideal candidate will have senior-level construction PM experience, be capable of managing projects cradle-to-grave, and hold a full UK driving licence. Salary is £40,000 base with substantial OTE and a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• End-to-end project management experience on construction projects.
• Experience delivering commercial construction, refurbishments or fit-out works.
• Strong budgeting and planning skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with project management software such as Monday.com or similar.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop project scopes, objectives and delivery plans.
• Monitor progress, budgets and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with legislation and standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced \u003Cb\u003EConstruction Project Manager\u003C/b\u003E to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of commercial construction projects, including new build developments, refurbishments, and mixed-use schemes.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a \u003Cb\u003ESenior Project Manager\u003C/b\u003E, \u003Cb\u003EBuilding Project Manager\u003C/b\u003E or \u003Cb\u003EContracts Manager\u003C/b\u003E.

As a \u003Cb\u003EConstruction Project Manager\u003C/b\u003E, you will work:

• Managing construction projects from inception through to completion


• Coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery


• Developing project scopes, objectives, and delivery plans


• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and resource allocation


• Managing project costs, programme changes, and risk throughout the project lifecycle


• Building strong working relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders


• Reporting project performance and progress to senior management


• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to specification


• Maintaining compliance with all relevant construction legislation and industry standards

To be successful as a \u003Cb\u003EConstruction Project Manager\u003C/b\u003E, you will need:

• Proven experience managing construction projects from cradle to grave


• Experience delivering commercial construction, refurbishment, or fit-out projects


• Knowledge of new build steel portal frame construction


• Strong budgeting, planning, and project management skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities


• Experience using project management software such as Monday or similar


• Full UK Driving Licence

• RICS qualification (preferred but not essential)
