Job summary

Pertemps Black Country Perms in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Project Manager to own construction projects from survey through to completion. The role involves managing a busy portfolio, coordinating Surveyors, Site Foremen, trades and subcontractors while tracking timescales, costs, quality and customer expectations.

You will handle on-site challenges, review costs and variations, coordinate materials, and ensure the next phase is ready.

Qualifications

Proven project management experience within construction.
Experience coordinating multiple projects, trades and contractors.
Strong commercial awareness with understanding of costs and profitability.
Good knowledge of health & safety, CDM and construction compliance.
Confident IT skills to manage project information and records.
Strong communicator and people manager.

Responsibilities

Managing a busy portfolio of construction projects from initial survey through to completion.
Planning and coordinating surveyors, trades, subcontractors, labour, materials and project schedules.
Monitoring progress across multiple live jobs, site audits and resolving issues.
Reviewing scopes of work, managing variations and keeping an eye on project costs, WIP and profitability.
Ensuring health & safety, CDM, risk assessments, quality and wider compliance requirements are met.
Maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams, keeping project records accurate.
