Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong practical construction background to oversee the delivery of multiple projects across the Midlands. This hands‑on role suits someone who has progressed from trade, foreman, or site management into contracts management.

You will work closely with Site Managers, commercial teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards, while managing contracts, variations

Qualifications

• Experience delivering refurbishment and retrofit projects is desirable.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project finances.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and Building Regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously from commencement through to completion.
• Provide leadership, support and mentoring to Site Managers and site teams.
• Maintain a regular presence on construction sites to monitor progress and standards.
• Identify construction issues early and implement practical solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with specifications.
• Drive high standards of workmanship and quality across all projects.
• Review project programmes and monitor progress against key milestones.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams throughout project delivery.
• Review construction contracts, specifications and client requirements.
• Manage valuations, applications for payment and project cash flow.
• Assess, negotiate and agree project variations.
• Monitor project costs, profitability and commercial performance.
• Ensure projects comply with contractual obligations and company procedures.
• Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and in line with company procedures.
