Senior Construction Project Manager

Job summary

A well-established contractor with offices across the East and Midlands is looking for a capable Project Manager to oversee multiple construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion.

You will lead on-site teams, coordinate with clients and consultants, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. A degree or equivalent in construction, plus strong delivery experience, is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering construction projects from inception to completion.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and contract docs.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management software.
• Full UK driving licence; SMSTS/SSSTS desirable; First Aid at Work desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through all stages of delivery from pre-construction to completion.
• Manage and support site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Review drawings and contract documentation; liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare progress reports, programmes and contractor reports.
• Price variations, prepare valuations and contribute to final accounts.
