Job summary

Cavendish Professionals are seeking a Project Manager to lead a live refurbishment of Bond Street retail units in London. You will oversee demolition, groundworks, brickwork and related packages, coordinating with main and sub-contractors to safeguard safety and programme delivery.

The role requires strong leadership and communication, CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid, a Temporary Works qualification, and experience with Asite or Viewpoint. Start ASAP on a contract or permanent basis.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid to be in place.
• Temporary Works Qualification required or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on similar refurbishment projects.
• Experience with the scopes listed (demolition, groundworks, brickwork, etc.).
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience working with main and sub-contractors and collaboration.
• Experience using Asite or Viewpoint.
• Good commercial awareness and decision-making.
• Working references are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery on refurbishment of Bond Street retail units.
• Coordinate demolition, groundworks, brickwork and structural elements with contractors.
• Manage schedule, safety, quality and cost to meet programme dates.

Job description

Our client provides groundworks, reinforced concrete (RC) formwork, and general building services for domestic and commercial projects across London, Kent, and South East England.

They are currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team on a live project which is the refurbishment of retail units in Bond Street, London.

Main Scope of Work: Demolition, Temporary Works, Groundworks, Blockwork, Brickwork, Cut & Carve etc.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Type: Contract or Permanent
• Site Days/Hours: Monday - Saturday (8am - 6pm, Saturdays TBC)
• Duration: Due to be completed June 2027
• Salary: 350 - 400 per day depending upon experience

• Drainage package
• Underpinning package
• Temporary Works Package
• Demo Package
• Masonry and Brickwork
• Permanent Steel Structures

Skills and Requirements:

• Valid Management CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Valid Temporary Works Qualification
• Previous experience as a Project Manager on a similar project

• Knowledge/experience working with main and sub contractors - working in collaboration
