Job summary

Construction in Plymouth is seeking a confident Relationship Liaison Officer for a temporary contract (1 year, potential extension). The role focuses on keeping everyone informed, managing relationships and ensuring smooth communication across construction projects.

You will liaise with residents, clients, contractors and internal teams, handling pre-construction tasks, notices and updates while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for clients and residents.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, clients, contractors and managing agents.
• Keep residents informed about works, timescales, access requirements and project updates.
• Liaise with site teams and internal departments to communicate resident needs.
• Assist with pre-construction arrangements, including access, licences and council requirements.
• Prepare and distribute weekly notices, letters and monthly newsletters to residents.
• Attend regular progress meetings.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and identify issues before they become problems.
• Assist with project documentation, quality assurance records and document uploads.
• Support the site manager and pre-construction team.
• Communicate project programme updates clearly to residents and clients.
