Job summary

Equans is seeking a Customer Liaison Officer for a permanent role in Leeds. The position focuses on maintaining open communication between the company and residents during construction and regeneration projects.

You will ensure residents are informed and supported throughout the project lifecycle, addressing concerns and strengthening positive relationships. You will manage the resident journey, deliver consultations, inductions, and profiling, and coordinate access and support needs with site

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service based role.
• Previous resident liaison experience within construction / social housing.
• Basic understanding of construction and social housing.
• Familiarisation with GDPR regulations.
• Computer literate in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and support to residents before, during and after works to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Manage the customer/resident journey following client and company engagement procedures.
• Develop effective working relationships with residents, clients, subcontractors, site personnel and local stakeholders.
• Carry out consultation events and individual consultations with residents regarding future work.
• Conduct individual resident inductions—introducing Equans, CLO/RLO process, scope of works, surveys with photos as evidence.
• Complete resident profiling and collaborate with site management to implement practices and discuss with client’s customer care team as appropriate.
• Agree access arrangements with residents and book appointments for work at their home.
• Organise and provide support needs: packing boxes, dust sheets, storage and other facilities.
