Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Construction Instructor role at a large modern Further Education college in High Wycombe. The position offers full teacher training, Monday to Friday, and a salary of 27,000 plus excellent pension, 38 days holiday and clear career progression into teaching.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on construction experience, a Level 2 qualification or higher, and a strong commitment to health and safety in a workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Industry experience within Construction.
• Level 2 qualification or above in a Construction-related discipline.
• Hands-on practical skills and good technical knowledge.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Looking for a long-term career in education.
• No teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical Construction instruction and workshop support.
• Assist lecturers in delivering engaging practical lessons.
• Supervise learners during workshop activities.
• Maintain tools, equipment and workshop facilities.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Full teacher training provided.
• Monday to Friday.
