Forrest Recruitment Ltd. Bolton-based client seeks an experienced Operations and Project Manager from a construction background to oversee a portfolio of up to 30 live projects, ensuring on-time delivery and budget control, while handling office administration.

The role requires coordinating subcontractors, loss assessors and clients, assisting with tender costings, supplier onboarding, invoicing, and occasional site visits; a valid driving licence is required as a company vehicle is available.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in operations management within construction.
• Able to manage up to 30 projects simultaneously.
• Experience with tendering, costings and pricing schedules.
• Strong admin and organisation skills.
• Full clean driving licence required for site visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage an ongoing caseload of up to 30 construction projects from start to completion.
• Monitor progress of contracts; liaise with subcontractors, loss assessors and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Oversee all aspects of administration.
• Assist Tendering Manager and Director with costings and pricing schedules.
• Review tender documents for compliance and risk.
• Recruit and onboard suppliers and contractors; verify insurance, CIS, VAT and certifications.
• Produce quotes for emergency works.
• Own and resolve complaints and escalated issues.
• Produce invoices for completed work.
• Manage administration for the owners private property portfolio; rent agreements and renewals.
• Occasional site visits; hold a current driving licence.
