Job summary

Forrest Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations and Project Manager in Bolton to oversee a small team in a fully office-based role. You will manage up to 30 construction projects from start to finish, coordinate with subcontractors, loss assessors and clients, and drive administration, costings and pricing.

Knowledge of property/facilities management is a plus. A current driving licence is required for occasional site visits and the company vehicle will be available for this

Responsibilities

• Efficiently managing an ongoing caseload of up to 30 construction projects from start to finish.
• Monitoring progress of contracts, liaising with sub contractors, loss assessors and clients to meet timelines and budget.
• Overseeing all aspects of administration.
• Assisting Tendering Manager and Director with accurate costings and pricing.
• Reviewing tender documents for compliance and risk identification.
• Recruiting and onboarding suppliers/contractors with insurance, CIS, VAT status verification.
• Producing quotes for emergency works.
• Taking ownership of complaints and escalated issues.
• Producing invoices for completed work.
• Managing administration for owner’s private property portfolio including rent agreements and renewals.
• Occasional site visits; must hold a current driving licence.

Operations and Project Manager. Bolton. £45k - £50k DOE

Successful construction firm who specialise in building work following an insurance claim are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who comes from a construction background. Knowledge in property/facilities management would be an additional advantage. This is a fully office based role, overseeing an existing team of 3, duties will include;

• Efficiently managing an ongoing caseload of up to 30 construction projects at a time, from start through to completion
• Monitoring the progress of all contracts, liaising with sub contractors, loss assessors and the end client to ensure that the project is completed on time and to budget
• Overseeing all aspects of administration
• Assisting the Tendering Manager and Company Director to produce accurate costings and pricing schedules
• Reviewing tender documents to ensure full compliance and identifying any potential risks
• Recruiting and onboarding new suppliers and contractors - insurance checks, CIS information, VAT status and relevant certification is valid
• Producing quotes for emergency works
• Taking ownership for any complaints and escalated issues
• Producing invoices for completed work
• Managing the administration for the owners private property portfolio - rent agreements sent and renewals, arranging for repairs etc
• There will be occasional site visits, so must hold a current driving licence (company vehicle will be available to use for this purpose)
