Job summary

Protocol National Limited is seeking a Construction Multi-Skills Tutor at HMYOI Werrington in Staffordshire to deliver practical construction training within a custodial education setting. You will work with small groups, helping learners develop skills and vocational qualifications while promoting safe working practices.

Candidates should have a Level 3 construction qualification and substantial industry experience, plus experience in teaching or mentoring.

Qualifications

Must hold Level 3 vocational qualification in construction.
Significant construction industry experience.
Experience delivering vocational training, coaching or workplace instruction.
Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Teaching or assessing qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging construction training sessions to small groups.
Support learners to achieve vocational qualifications and develop employability skills.
Plan and deliver lessons meeting individual learner needs.
Provide guidance and support to help learners reach their goals.
Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Promote safe working practices and industry standards.
