TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Multi-Skills Construction Tutor for a 3-day-per-week role, with two days in Cromford and one in Mansfield. This hands-on post focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering practical construction learning, using skills such as carpentry, joinery, painting, tiling, basic plumbing and brickwork to build confidence and employability.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering practical construction learning to young people.
• Ability to plan and coordinate a hands-on programme.
• Experience teaching a range of construction skills including carpentry, joinery, painting, tiling, plumbing and brickwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver a high-quality programme of practical construction learning.
• Teach construction skills to learners with barriers to education.
• Support development of employability skills such as confidence, problem-solving and teamwork.
