Job summary

National Skills Agency Ltd is seeking a Construction Multi Skills Tutor to train learners in Peterborough, delivering hands-on Level 1 Multi Skills Construction and guiding progression into further education or employment.

The role requires industry experience in multi-trade construction, a teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one), and a commitment to safeguarding and high-quality learning environments.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Construction Multi Skills Tutor

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 (Dependant on Experience)

The Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Construction Multi Skills Tutor to join their team in Medway. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional or multi-trade specialist to inspire the next generation of learners and support them in developing practical skills and confidence.

As the Construction Multi Skills Tutor, you will deliver engaging, hands‑on training across Level 1 Multi Skills Construction, helping learners progress into further education, apprenticeships, or employment.

About You

• Experienced in Construction Multi Skills (e.g. Plastering, Joinery, Painting & Decorating, Bricklaying, or general multi-trade)
• Passionate about teaching, training, and inspiring learners
• Confident delivering practical, engaging sessions to diverse groups
• Organised, reliable, and an excellent communicator

Qualifications & Requirements – As the Construction Multi Skills Tutor

• Industry-recognised qualification in Construction/Multi Skills
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Level 2 English and Maths (or willingness to achieve)
• Experience in construction industry essential
• FE teaching experience desirable
