Job summary

Bovis is recruiting a Construction Manager for a major new project in Oakham, Rutland, working with the MoD under the DEOP framework. You will manage site coordination, liaise with the base and oversee subcontractors while supporting logistics, scope writing and procurement activities.

You will ensure safety, apply programme and budget controls, and help deliver the client’s objectives with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication to influence and build relationships.
• Knowledge of project scopes, design drawings and specifications.
• Experience with construction processes, safety systems and methodologies.
• Ability to lead pre-construction and site establishment activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety on site as a key member of the construction delivery team.
• Review safe working methods and monitor method statements.
• Oversee health, safety documentation and inspections on site.
• Coordinate contractors to the construction programme and plan.
• Direct work to meet programme, budget and client objectives.
• Lead ITP and QA processes and ensure compliance with procedures.
