Job summary

We Are Footprint is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to drive health, safety and compliance across construction sites. The role involves hands-on oversight, liaising with project managers, site teams, subcontractors and senior stakeholders to foster a strong safety culture on active projects.

Ideal candidates will be NEBOSH-qualified with construction experience, a solid grasp of CDM Regulations and HSE guidance, and a proactive approach to improvements and risk management.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH-qualified with construction emphasis.
• Experience conducting risk assessments and site audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and safety compliance across construction projects and site operations.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments; identify areas for improvement.
• Review RAMS and ensure safe systems of work are implemented effectively.
• Provide guidance and support to site teams, project managers and subcontractors.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses with corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and HSE UK requirements.
• Deliver toolbox talks and promote best practice across site teams.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and maintain safety standards.
• Support continuous improvement of health and safety policies and practices.
• Travel to sites to provide on-site support and maintain compliance.
