Job summary

Barratt Redrow PLC is seeking a Forklift Driver to support site operations across Edinburgh area projects. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will manage and control delivery of materials, check quantities, and assist with daily site tasks in line with the construction programme.

You’ll hold a valid FLT license and a full UK driving licence, with CSCS or partner scheme card, and a good Health and Safety awareness.

Qualifications

• FLT licence and full UK driving licence are required.
• Demonstrated Health and Safety awareness on site.
• CSCS card or partner scheme evidence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly communicate with Site Manager to stay updated on changes to the construction programme.
• Check deliveries for quality and quantity and record any issues.
• Store and label materials correctly; manage waste by site skips.
• Inspect forklift daily and maintain the Plant Register; perform routine maintenance.
• Carry out labouring and general site tasks as required.
