Job summary

Barratt Redrow is seeking a Forklift Driver to manage deliveries on construction sites, ensuring material availability and safety standards are met. You'll need relevant experience and licenses, and will play an integral role in our construction operations in Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
• Previous experience on large domestic volume house building sites.
• Hold an appropriate FLT drivers license and full UK driving license.
• Relevant Health and Safety Awareness.
• Current appropriate CSCS or partner scheme card.

Responsibilities

• Manage and control the delivery of materials to the site.
• Communicate regularly with the Site Manager about changes.
• Ensure all deliveries are checked for quality and quantity.
• Store and label materials correctly in designated areas.
• Advise on any defective/damaged materials.
• Inspect fork lift for maintenance and cleanliness.
