Job summary

Bellway plc in Livingston (Scotland East) is recruiting a Fork Lift Truck Driver to join the Construction team. You will transport goods and pallets around the site, reporting to the Site Manager, and work closely with the site team to ensure deliveries are timely and accurate.

Key duties include loading and unloading vehicles, securing loads, maintaining tidy and safe work areas, complying with site health and safety rules and Bellway policies, and supporting other site tasks as required.

Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS licence is required on the ticket.
• A17C-E on the CPCS ticket is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from vehicles arriving on site.
• Check loads are secure for transport around site.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe.
• Follow site Health and Safety rules and procedures.
• Follow Bellway policies and site instructions.

Role

The role of Forklift Driver, reports to the Site Manager / Construction Manager and is responsible for the transportation of goods and pallets around the site.

Principal Accountabilities

• Loading and unloading materials from a variety of vehicles as they arrive onto site.
• Checking loads are secure.
• Ensuring work areas are well kept and safe.
• Comply with Site Health and Safety rules/procedures.
• At all times comply with company policies, procedures and instructions.
