New City College is seeking 3 motivated and proactive individuals to join our team to shape the future of Construction and Engineering students. You will develop partnerships with employers to create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience and industry insight, while supporting their career aspirations.

The role combines employer engagement, partnership development, and student support, with a focus on connecting education with industry and expanding the NCC employer network.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• The ability to build effective partnerships with a wide range of employers and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A commitment to delivering positive outcomes and meaningful experiences for students.
• Experience in employer engagement, work experience coordination, recruitment, business development, education, or a related field would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain employer relationships to secure high-quality work experience placements.
• Engage businesses via networking and partnerships to expand the employer network.
• Coordinate and oversee the work experience programme, ensuring placements are meaningful and safe.
• Support students through placements to maximise experience and career outcomes.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to embed employer engagement in the curriculum.
• Monitor and improve the effectiveness of work experience and engagement activities.
• Promote industry collaboration via projects, speakers, events, and mentoring.
