New City College is recruiting three motivated individuals to join our Construction and Engineering team as Work Experience and Employer Engagement Lead. You will connect learners with industry, building partnerships with local and national employers to provide meaningful placements and industry insights.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with employers to secure high-quality work experience placements and industry opportunities for students.
• Coordinate and oversee the work experience programme, ensuring placements are meaningful, safe, and aligned with industry requirements.
• Expand and strengthen the employer network through outreach and partnership development.
• Support students throughout their placement journey to maximise learning and outcomes.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams to embed employer engagement and industry experiences in the curriculum.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of work experience and employer engagement activities.
• Promote industry collaboration through projects, guest speakers, careers events, mentoring opportunities, and other employer-led initiatives.
