New City College is seeking three Work Experience Coordinators to support placements for Construction and Engineering students. You will build and maintain relationships with local, regional and national employers to secure placements, then run the work experience programme and support students through them.

Key duties include employer engagement, curriculum collaboration and organising careers events, with duties spanning partnership development and student support.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach is required.
• Ability to build partnerships with a wide range of employers and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain employer relationships to secure high-quality work experience placements and industry opportunities.
• Network and run outreach and partnership development to grow the employer network.
• Coordinate the work experience programme so placements are meaningful, safe and meet industry requirements.
• Support students through their placements to get the most from them and reach their career goals.
• Work with curriculum teams to embed employer engagement and industry experience in Construction and Engineering courses.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve work experience and employer engagement activity.
• Organise industry projects, guest speakers, careers events, mentoring and other employer-led initiatives.
