Job summary

Michael Page Legal in Leeds is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join a specialist practice handling high value construction disputes for developers, contractors and subcontractors. You will work closely with senior lawyers on contentious matters and advise on contracts and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have 0–5 years PQE, experience in construction law or a commitment to develop in this area, and a client-focused, commercially aware mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advising developers, contractors and subcontractors on construction disputes.
• Working on high value and complex construction claims.
• Managing and assisting with construction adjudications.
• Assisting with litigation and other forms of construction dispute resolution.
• Reviewing and analysing construction contracts and related documentation.
• Developing understanding of clients' commercial objectives and providing practical advice.
• Building strong relationships with clients and supporting their wider legal requirements.
• Developing specialist knowledge across construction and engineering law.
