Job summary

Michael Page Legal in Leeds is seeking a Procurement Solicitor to advise contracting authorities, bidders and healthcare clients on procurement, commercial and regulatory matters. You will draft procurement documentation and navigate the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, Procurement Act 2023 and Provider Selection Regime.

You should have 0–5 years PQE, strong drafting ability and be confident communicating with clients and stakeholders while handling a varied caseload in a national law firm

Qualifications

• 0–5 years PQE in procurement law.
• Experience with Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023.
• Familiar with Provider Selection Regime and healthcare sector application.
• Drafting and advising on procurement documentation and contracts.
• Confident communicating with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advising contracting authorities and bidders on procurement and contractual matters.
• Drafting and advising on procurement documentation and related contractual arrangements.
• Advising on challenges to procurement processes and coordinating with disputes team.
• Drafting and negotiating terms including framework agreements, call-off contracts, licensing and data protection docs.
• Advising on innovative contracting models such as joint ventures and alliances.
• Supporting NHS and independent sector clients with commercial and regulatory matters.
