Job summary

TSR Legal is seeking a Construction Solicitor to join its respected national practice. The role focuses on contentious construction matters, with exposure to non-contentious work for those interested, and offers the chance to work on complex disputes for a broad client base.

The successful candidate will be a newly qualified solicitor or have up to around four years PQE, with a demonstrable interest in construction disputes, strong commercial awareness, and a desire to develop a long-term career

Qualifications

• This opportunity would suit a newly qualified Solicitor or someone with up to around 4 years' PQE who has an interest in contentious construction work.
• Experience within a specialist construction team, or exposure through a construction seat during training.
• Ability to manage a varied workload with supervision.
• Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Ambition to develop expertise and build a long-term career in construction law.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of high-quality and complex construction disputes (adjudication and litigation).
• Provide advice on commercially focused and pragmatic solutions to clients.
• Exposure to both contentious and non-contentious construction work as appropriate.
• Assist national developers, contractors, major housebuilders and housing providers with construction matters.
